he leasing and finance sector business is all about personal relationships so when recruiting new members of the team it is important to make sure that you select the right candidates. However, potential recruits can have many different virtues, so do you select a seasoned professional with years of industry experience or a young and enthusiastic applicant with untapped potential?


Bluestone Leasing, one of the largest independent leasing companies in the UK, finds that a blend of youth and experience works best, although the company looks for certain attributes in all recruits. Chief Executive of Bluestone Leasing, Phillip Bennett says, “Whether we are recruiting a director or a junior trainee we always look for certain attributes such as a strong work ethic and a self-motivation for personal professional development.
