With its sucker-like mouth agape, North Water’s DL Wide Mouth throw bag looks like a bottom-feeding fish out of water. But that’s okay be- cause, like a fish, the Wide Mouth was born for the water. Most throw bags have a disc of floa- tation at the bottom, mean- ing the bag collapses easily after deployment. Te Wide Mouth’s floatation is sewn into the walls of the cylin- drical bag, meaning it keeps its shape even when empty. Combine that with the bag’s wide mouth, designed to scoop up water when the bag is being pulled back to shore, and you have a throw bag that comes back full of water and weighted for a second or third toss.
