STEEP AND BREAKING WAVES AT THE r iver ’s mouth capsize a voyageur canoe.
Rescuers ar r ive on the scene and discover a second capsized canoe f loat ing nearby.
The owner of the canoe cannot be located. Soon af ter, the Ontar io Provincial Pol ice, the U.S. Coast Guard and the
Canadian Rescue Cont rol Cent re commence an ai r, water and
