Mozart is for lovers ?

EASTERN MARKET

I’m taking some friends to East- ern Market this weekend, and we wanted to

go on Saturday, but with the onset of the

cooler weather, I didn’t know if their hours/days have changed. Will most of the vendors be out on Saturday, or is Sunday pretty much the busi- est day?

STEPHANIE

MERRY: You’ll see as many vendors out on Saturday at Eastern

Market, and the hours haven’t changed.

The Going

Out Gurus answer your questions Thursdays at 1 p.m. at goingoutguide. com.

Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” translates as “That’s what everybody does.” In today’s vernacular, that might be “Any woman can be had,” but regardless, it is one of the loveliest if silliest operas in the repertory. The tale involves four lovers, a cynical adviser, a savvy maid and beautiful music. Virginia Opera presents it with a young cast — including soprano Camille Zamora as the maid, Despina — as director Lillian Groag gets to sort out the challenges of the plot. // 8 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Dec. 5.
