MANUFACTURER’S COMMENTS

Longer expeditions require a fast, straight-tracking canoe. The Saga is all that, featuring a low-rockered, asymmetrical hull for efficient paddling.

Excellent tripping boat for solo paddlers with the need for speed. Slight differential rocker for straightline speed and turn initiation. Also avail- able in 34 lb BlackGold ($2,295 US).

A shallow-arch bottom makes this tripping/cruising canoe stable, and the slight tumblehome makes it easy to paddle. Standard with bucket seats, sliding bow, and adjustable footbraces.

The Cruiser is a great performance boat. It’s extremely fast, carries a heavy load and is dry in large waves.

Langford’s finest asymmetrical canoe. Capacity, acceleration, manoeu- vrability, tracking ease and seaworthiness make this a great performance canoe.

This sleek and versatile canoe can be paddled solo or tandem. Fast yet capable of handling rough conditions.

Traditional design based on the Peterborough Cruiser Iroquois model. Traditional craftsmanship of uncompromising quality. An efficient trip- ping canoe with performance in mind.

Weighing an easily portagable 65 lbs, the Penobscott 17 is well suited for lake touring and downriver racing. With capacity of 1,100 lbs it has lots of room for paddlers and gear.

TGV—”Très Grande Vitesse”—is a fast tandem touring canoe with lots of classic style and modern “go fast” attitude and features.

Modern symmetrical design blends performance with predictability. Stable and dry. This canoe’s high capacity does not hinder manoeuvrabil- ity or efficiency. Also available in 15’ and 16’ models.

The Winisk is our staff’s tripper of choice. It’s a fast, seaworthy tripping canoe that’s also a capable recreational racer. Many options are available.

Available in fibreglass and Kevlar-glass-epoxy construction with different yokes and removable thwart/yoke bracket options.

A very fast canoe for its size. The Escape accelerates quickly and has amazing glide. There’s plenty of volume for all the gear you’ll want to take on your trip.
