MANUFACTURER’S COMMENTS We’ve modified the classic Prospector—the workhorse canoe of
Canadian lakes and rivers—to better suit today’s canoeist. More than a Prospector, this canoe is a Legend.
Shouldered flare and differential rocker lets it handle or track with ease. Optional centre seat for tandem/solo paddling. Also available in KevLight (36lbs. $2,295) or durable BlackGold (41lbs. $2,595).
A traditional canoe with the benefit of a re-design using modern technology. Steve Killing maintained traditional styling features in this canoe. A beautiful canoe to look at and to paddle.
A handcrafted, custom-built Canadian classic. Excellent for flatwater, recreational and solo paddling. Stable, durable, with great load-carry- ing capacity for canoe tripping. Tested on hundreds of canoe trips.
A family canoe for both lakes and rivers. This versatile canoe can take lots of abuse. Our standard trim includes two webbed wood seats, a carry yoke, a thwart and carry handles.
Kevlar reinforcements at the bow and stern are standard in this rug- ged layup. Very popular with guides and rental companies. Aluminum trim and adjustable foot brace.
Versatile, lightweight family canoe with exceptional stability and smooth glide. Excellent tracking capability. Outfitted with three moulded bench seats, drink and rod holders.
Classic design adapted for river or flatwater expeditions. Traditional look with modern performance.
Symmetrical, flat-bottomed with lake keel. Designed for stability and ease of use. Contoured web seats. Hardwood yoke. Many layup, colour and trim options.
Versatile.
A versatile canoe with traditional good looks and good all-around paddling characteristics. We build it in several versions.
The Quetico is an ideal recreational canoe. It is very stable, fast and lightweight. Duralite is a composite material that is tougher than Kevlar, less expensive and almost as light.
Black cherry trim. Moderate rocker with good stability. Equally at home on big lakes or quiet rivers.
Our user-friendly canoe! The 16’6” is famous for its stability, manoeu- vrability, and all-around performance. A great family canoe.
Excellent solo canoe with a shallow-arch bottom and moderate rocker. Options include keel, carrying yoke, colour choice. Seats caned or wood slat. Only premium quality materials used.
The most performance-oriented polyethylene canoe on market; asymet- rical hull with extended stern keel enhances speed and glide; standard padded seat, adjustable backrests, cupholders and mesh pockets.
Traditional design based on the Chestnut Cruiser Cronje model. The quintessential flatwater canoe with all the refinements of a cedar canvas canoe.
Shorter version of the “all-around” canoe-—light, stable, good volume, easy handling.
At just 42 lbs, the Bob Special in Blue Steel (Kevlar/carbon) is extremely manageable and easy to transport. Blue Steel is lightweight and incredibly tough, and is available for most Nova Craft models.
The Charles River combines yesterday’s classic design, flared with tumblehome cross-section and contemporary materials to provide performance with greater durability and less weight.
Exclusive impact resistant Ram-X hull, exceptional stability, light- weight, camouflage colours, three moulded bench seats, drink and rod holders, sturdy aluminum gunwales with protective sleeves.
The Pleasure is an ideal all-around canoe. It has moderate rocker, clean waterlines and a low sheerline.
A smaller tripping canoe for a couple of weeks and/or moderate-size paddlers. The PakCanoe 165 is also an excellent expedition solo canoe.
