NIT Note
Doremus Bennerman led Siena to the National Invitation Tournament semifinals in 1994. Bennerman holds or shares seven Siena NIT records and established an all-time NIT record by scoring 174 points in five NIT games in 1994. He was named NIT MVP following the Saints’ third-place finish.
