Siena College is a liberal arts college nestled in Loudonville, just minutes from Albany, the vibrant capital of New York. Our approach to education combines the value of a liberal arts with professional preparation, making Siena’s undergraduate experience like no other. We offer 30 degree programs and 45 minors/certificate programs in the School of Business, Liberal Arts and Science. At Siena, small interactive classes create a supportive environment in which students can develop their potential for success. Whether it is leading a classroom discussion, working side by side with faculty conducting research, gaining real-world experience at one of the countless internships available in the Capital Region, or participating in one of our 60 plus extracurricular activities, the extraordinary opportunities for personal, academic, leadership and professional development are endless.
The Secret of Siena’s Success What keeps Siena College among “America’s Best?” Since its founding, Siena has been a community where care and concern for the intellectual, personal and social growth of all students is paramount.
The overwhelming sense of community spirit at Siena grabs your attention the moment you arrive on campus. The one-on-one interaction in the classroom and personal attention is why students call Siena “home.”
Academics Students can choose among 26 majors in liberal arts, science and business. All majors require course- work in English, history, philosophy, religious studies, fine arts, the social sciences and natural science as part of Siena’s core curriculum.
