Day 1. Arrive Zurich and on to Lucerne Tour begins: 4:00 PM, Palace Luzern. A transfer is included from Zurich International Airport to the Palace Luzern. Start your alpine adventure in the storybook lakeside city of Lucerne. Meet up at your historic century-old grand hotel, then it’s off to the Swiss Museum of Transport for a guided interactive visit, followed by a private welcome reception and dinner in the museum restaurant. Day 2. Cog railway to Mount Pilatus... and rope park fun After checking out Lucerne’s cobblestone streets, spires, covered bridges, fountains and famed Löwendenkmal (Lion Memorial) on a city tour, you’ll ride the world’s steepest cogwheel train from
Alpnachstad up to the top of Mount Pilatus; legend has it that dragons dwell in its cliffs and caves... along with the ghost of Pontius Pilate! Alpine peaks surround you as you descend by aerial cableway to Fraekmuentegg, where more family fun awaits at Switzerland’s largest rope park* or longest summer toboggan run*. Then it’s back by gondola to Lucerne to spend the rest of the day at leisure. Meals BL

Across Lake Lucerne... and through the Alps by train A cruise across shimmering Lake Lucerne to Stansstad whets your family’s appetite for more amazing vistas... before you board the Glacier Express in Andermatt for the most scenic train ride in Europe!
