“Tauck’s volunteer program has received widespread recognition, including being honored by the President at the White House. In
2006, we were awarded the nation’s highest honor for historic
preservation, the Preserve America Presidential Award – a tribute we proudly share with our more than 12,000 Tauck guest volunteers!
” Dan and Kiki Tauck Mahar
Shared experiences enrich every Tauck Bridges vacation, especially in our national parks. Families of every age and generation can participate in so many different activities during their visits here... from hiking, river rafting, horseback riding, rock reading and star gazing... to volunteering on special Tauck Bridges service projects that help keep the parks as awe-inspiring as nature intended them to be. To date, more than 12,000 Tauck guests have donated some of their vacation time in our national parks to help us work on preservation and beautification projects. In 2011, we are proud to offer Tauck Bridges families an opportunity to volunteer their time during their stay in Grand Teton National Park on Cowboy Country (page 43), giving participants, young and old, a different perspective of – and renewed appreciation for – our national parks. This shared experience may include painting a fence, weeding a picnic area or planting new bushes... all of which helps to preserve and protect our natural treasures so that families like yours can enjoy the wilderness well into the future.
