BILLY THE EXTERMINATOR Camera used HVR-Z7 Production company September Films USA Executive producer Richard Hansil wanted to test out file-based production on the latest series of A&E’s reality series Billy the Exterminator,but he also needed a rugged and reliable camcorder which would stand up to some rough treatment. Camera used HVR-Z7E Production company Swift Films Filmmaker Richard Nicholls chose the the HVR-Z7E to shoot his African road movie, based on a range of qualities, including a lightweight compact frame, sturdy and reliable construction as well as the ability to shoot onto tape and compact flash memory. The feature length film features two stand up comics attempting to travel 4,000 miles in a car bought for just £100. See page 28 (Entry Level HD)
