competition
a Sony Blu-Ray home cinema system
for the second year running, according to BSRIA. With over 1.1 million outlets shipped in 2009, Brand-Rex beat the number two by almost 145,000 outlets, putting Brand- Rex over 14 per cent ahead of its nearest rival. The BSRIA figures show that Brand-Rex is top for both shielded and unshielded solutions with 21 per cent of the shielded and 17 per cent of the unshielded markets. The success has been built on the introduction of a number of key solutions such as the high density copper and fibre cabling systems, which not only transform cabinet installation layouts and greatly reduce floor space required but also deliver superior bandwidth performance in horizontal wiring, data centre and SANs. Other major innovations helping to achieve this position include the 10GPlus Zone Cable, a 3P approved solution that is 50 per cent smaller and 30 per cent lighter than conventional cables.
E Brand-Rex has also continued to work closely with
its partner network and capped off a remarkable 12 months with being voted structured cabling provider of the year for the second year running at the Network Computing Awards.
