Haglöfs P3 Zenith Jacket Haglöfs is launching its first-ever three-layer version of Proof with its


new Zenith jacket – a technically advanced shell jacket made from recycled polyester.


For the spring 2011 season, Haglöfs has expanded its Proof range with new fabrics made of recycled materials from Teijin Eco Circle. The system is the world's first closed-loop recycling system for polyester. It works by breaking down used polyester products and processing them to create material of the same quality and performance as the original. The process reduces energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80 percent compared with fossil polyester production.


The Zenith jacket is a highly technically advanced shell jacket made of durable rip-stop material with excellent stretch, designed for all-year-round mountaineering and trekking in alpine environments. The jacket has ultrasonically welded seams to minimize bulk and weight and maximize stretch and

from closed-loop recycling. The Incus jacket is a two-layer shell jacket made of recycled materials, with a combination of two different Proof fabrics – one plain and one rip-stop. The jacket is completely waterproof and breathable, making it suitable for a number of different types of activity. The new material makes the jacket lightweight and soft, yet highly durable. The Incus Jacket is also fully recyclable – a jacket in perfect balance which both gives the wearer a sense of security and is environmentally sustainable at the same time.
