To assist with the smooth running of the


Conference, the organisers ask that all delegates realise the importance of punctuality at Conference. It would be very much appreciated if delegates could be seated a few minutes prior to the start time of each session so that the timetable runs to schedule. Unfortunately, delegates who arrive late for any session will not be allowed into the conference hall until a suitable point in the proceedings, as it would be extremely unprofessional to disturb either the speakers or the delegates. So please do try to be on time throughout the Conference. The Conference programme is now finalised


and the main speakers are Bill Turnbull, a well known journalist (and erstwhile dance contestant!) from the BBC, Dr Ian Oliver, an international consultant for the United Nations,


Lesley Abdela MBE, winner of the ‘2009 UK Woman Political Journalist of the Year’ and Satish Kumar, a campaigner for land reform Conferences do not organise themselves and also can prove expensive if not budgeted correctly and the Conference team would very much like to acknowledge the assistance of two sponsors for this year’s event, Visit Manchester and Riverford Organics.
