Demos will show the cSDP securing opportu- nities in Hybrid broadcast broad- band TV; the CI Plus enhance- ment to DVB; and content water- marking with partner Civolution.

WHAT DO THEY DO? Viaccess will showcase its new generation of smartcards that offer advanced features to fight against the latest forms of Control Word sharing piracy over any DTH and internet networks. Viaccess will also show solutions to protect and enhance the value of content services, such as its hybrid security pre-integrated with middleware and content rec- ommendation from subsidiary Orca. Other solutions will include security renewability over broad- cast and broadband networks, and CI Plus technology.

WHAT DOES IT DO? Based on Microsoft Silverlight, Observer Professional includes a UI for both Mac and PC platforms that supports various browsers, as well as integrated export func- tionality to H.264, Flash, MPEG-2, or MPEG-4. Volicon will demon- strate enhancements to the Observer Professional’s optional Scheduled Recording Module, which integrates with EPGs to enable quick and easy scheduling, recording, and enhanced search- ing with auto-complete technolo- gy on key media mentions in the video stream.
