StreamZHD provides capture and encoding to multiple simultane- ous output formats from live and tape-based sources. A new ver- sion of the Digital Rapids Transcode Manager distributed media transcoding software will also be unveiled. New features include automated ‘commercial black’ removal and a new user interface style. New enhance- ments to the MediaMesh content delivery system will be highlight- ed, including expanded output format support, multi-clip playlist- ing and extended capabilities in the portal-based MediaMesh Web Submitter.

WHAT’S SHOWING? Dreamgallery
WHAT DOES IT DO? Dreampark will showcase the lat- est version of the Dreamgallery middleware and portal generator, which will be available to cus- tomers in July 2010. The portal generator enables operators to add new interactive services and see changes take effect in real time. Dreamgallery takes advan- tage of open standards, such as HTML and SVG. WHAT DO THEY DO? Alongside a comprehensive range of set-top boxes and digital video recorders, EchoStar Europe says it will highlight how ‘TV Anywhere’ technologies, such as its fully integrated SlingLoaded solutions, will deliver increased convenience to consumers, ensur-
ing that operators benefit from reducing churn, gain opportuni- ties to enhance revenues and ensure that their services support the latest trends in media con- sumption. One highlight will be EchoStar Europe’s SlingLoaded HDS-600 platform that enables digital TV operators to provide consumers with a TV Anywhere experience, allowing services to be extended securely inside and outside the home to Macs, PCs and mobile devices including iPhone, iPad and Android-based smart phones. EchoStar Europe will also be exploring the possibili- ties of in-home connectivity through the introduction of DLNA solutions. The company will also showcase its HDC-600 EuroDOCSIS platform for cable operators and SlingLoaded HDX- 600 platform for IPTV operators.
