AFS Introduces Retirement Program for Corporate Members By utilizing its economy of scale, AFS

is now able to package a retirement program and offer it to corporate mem- bers. Developed in partnership with Rothschild Investment Corp., Chicago, a fully featured 401(K) plan is now available for AFS Corporate Members to provide to their employees.

Key benefits of the AFS Advantage 401K include: • cost effective solutions, such as no annual fee or incidental costs to the employer;

• all-star investment choices; • fiduciary risk mitigated for trustees and owners;

• outsourced ERISA 3(16), 3(21), 3(38) responsibilities;

• no audits or 5500 tax filings; • no start-up fees. In recent surveys compiled by AFS,

a concern by many respondents was the need to attract and retain young and talented individuals in the met- alcasting industry. Having a fully featured 401(K) adds significant value to an employer’s benefit package. “This program affords your com-

pany a great recruitment and retention tool,” said Leo Baran, AFS director of membership services. “It also reduces and eliminates many of the costs found in stand-alone programs, as well as allowing fiduciary risk mitigation— an unbelievably valuable aspect for the employer.”
