School-led modules are led by schools, focused upon their school priorities, and take place at the school. Some are open to teachers from other schools. This is the step off point for the PG Certificate. PGDip and MA students take: One of the modules above, or Action Enquiry for School Improvement This is the step off point for the PG Diploma. MA Students complete: Dissertation or independent school-based research project.
Attendance Face to face modules may have 15- 20 sessions. Some modules are in distance learning mode where online contribution is expected.
Career opportunities Many participants gain promotions. Others use evidence collected from the assignments as evidences for threshold and AST applications. Participants report a close connection between what they have studied and how their practice has improved.
Assessment Includes assignments, portfolios of evidence and action research projects. The learning process involves a combination of selective inputs, workshop activities, school based work, self- directed enquiries and research, and online learning.
