Production Finishing Systems


Today we see a large variety of print engines being used. Offset is still #1 in terms of print volumes. However, the digital printers have rapidly taken over the light production and entry level markets and are now moving into the production segment. Color is growing quickly. Print On Demand calls for increased auto- mation to reduce labor cost and turn around times. Handling a large variety of substrates with no time for drying is a challenge for every finisher. Plockmatic has vast experience in this field, and the Plockmatic 1000/1000S Systems has been designed to do the job.


Plockmatic 1000S System


This configuration contains the VF 1008 Feeder, the BM 2000S Binder, the FTR 2000 Trimmer, the SQF 2000 Squarefolder and the BST 4000-1 Beltstacker. A system for the production segment where ease of operation, short turn around times and robustness is a must.


By hand Loading


The open design makes it easy to load the high capacity bins. Bins not in operation can easily be loaded while the others are running. Various programming options allow the feeder to run continuously without stops for reloading.


Manual feeding is possible through the top cover slot. Convenient for already pre-collated/ sorted sets that need to be bound. Feed by hand 1,800 sets/hour and get booklets of up to 100 pages sharply folded, trimmed and square- folded.
