Sven Ellingson’s Bergan Viking was third. I really like the idea of no throw outs - it really keeps you on your toes. The PHRF fleet had a couple of

J-29’s, a J-100, and a couple of J-80’s. Jim Moynihans’s J-29 Wings won the class with straight bullets and Bill Daniel's beautiful J-100, Tourist, ended up tied with Mike Sawyer’s J-80 Fearful Symmetry, but won the tie breaker for 2nd overall. J-30s always do a good job of

supporting J-Fest, Gardner & Adair's Rounder did a masterful job of controlling their destiny with all bullets except the last race - must have gotten the beer out a little early. Celebration was third and Derek and Cindy’s Outlaw a close third.

Bob Ross has been putting on J-Fest

since the beginning and has a super loyal following with the J-Boat formula of well built, easy to sail, fast and comfortable. Add to that a great dinner and raffle on Saturday, with Karen and Mike pouring awesome drinks at the host club CYC, and it was another memorable event.
