What is the currency on board and howdo I pay for items I buy? Currency on board all ships is the US dollar, and you’ll find the Purser’s Office acts as a handy financial centre. You don’t need to take cash, as all shipboard purchases are charged to your on-board account. You can settle your account by credit card or using traveller’s cheques. To make life easier, we recommend you register your credit card at embarkation. You can exchange cash and traveller’s cheques at the Purser’s Office for most currencies in use at ports of call. Please note that personal cheques cannot be cashed on board our ships.

Please note: for 2012World Voyages you will be required to settle your account at the end of each sector. These dates will be advised when you are on board. We would recommend that you ensure your card provider is aware that you are travelling.

Parents may also accompany their children and participate in the activities.

The Programme is operated on a complimentary basis and is available for guests’ convenience from 9:00am – midnight on all ships. Parents may drop off their children at any time during the hours of operation. We do not offer private, in-stateroom babysitting.

We offer exciting age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, board games, sports, movies, video games, discos and parties.
