i) All flight times given are approximate and subject to change. Cunard have no control over changes airlines may make to flight times, but will inform you of any changes.

j) For airline seating please refer to the relevant airline’s website.

Check-in For flights to Europe we recommend that you check in at least two hours prior to departure and for travel further afield, we recommend that you check-in at least three hours prior to departure. Please check your ticket details carefully as check-in timings vary by airline and destination.

Baggage Allowances There is no restriction for reasonable amounts of luggage on board the ship. However, airlines do have baggage restrictions (which vary on scheduled flights, depending on airline and route). Please note that on UK regional flights (see our CruiseConnect Programme on page 95) the baggage allowance may be less than on international flights. As electrical appliances are no longer permitted in checked baggage, please remember to place all such items in your hand luggage.

Excess Baggage Airlines are increasingly enforcing stricter control over excess baggage. You should be aware that if you exceed the baggage allowance stated on your ticket, an excess baggage charge will be made by the airline at the time of check-in.

Non-USA Flights The standard economy class allowance is currently 20kg of checked baggage per person. Current hand luggage allowance is one standard-sized bag - which does not exceed 56 x 45 x 25cm (including wheels, pockets and handles). Please check your ticket prior to departure.

USA Flights Guests on scheduled flights with most airlines are permitted one piece of checked baggage, subject to airline regulation sizes and weighing no more than a total of 23kg per piece. Current hand luggage allowance is one standard-sized bag - which does not exceed 56 x 45 x 25cm (including wheels, pockets and handles). Please check your ticket prior to departure.

Please note Cunard is not responsible for airlines’ baggage restrictions.

Carriage ofDogs Cunard is pleased to permit individuals to bring registered service dogs on board. You must provide notice of this at the time of booking. Local laws or customs may prevent animals from disembarking at particular ports or countries. It is the guest’s responsibility to consult local customs authorities for requirements and to obtain all applicable documents and health certificates. Service dogs are kept in staterooms with their owners.

There is a possibility that service dogs may be travelling on your chosen voyage. If this is likely to affect the enjoyment of your holiday, please ask for further information at the time of booking.

ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT Here at Cunard we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously and are committed to reducing our environmental impact.

We are dedicated to preserving the marine environment in which we operate, and therefore believe it is our duty to introduce environmental practices which set a high standard of excellence and responsibility. To support our aim we have developed an environmental management system independently certified to ISO 14001, which is the most widely recognised global standard for improving environmental performance.

We recognise that without appropriate treatment the waste generated on board our ships, together with the fuel and other products we use to transport, feed, entertain and take care of you could have an impact on the environment. Our waste treatment facilities ensure that all waste water is appropriately managed to minimise its impact upon the oceans. All general waste is treated on board to reduce its volume prior to landing ashore, and wherever possible general waste is recycled.

We are reducing our air emissions through the implementation of fuel efficiency measures, including improved hull coatings, low energy lamps, increased recirculation of waste heat and improved efficiency in air conditioning, and we continue to explore new technologies.

Through these measures and other initiatives Cunard will ensure that we help preserve our environment for future generations.
