Guarantee Staterooms When you or your travel agent come to make a reservation you may be offered the guarantee of a stateroom grade, rather than a specific stateroom number. This is because we know from experience that a small number of guests will be compelled to cancel their arrangements, thus leaving the accommodation vacant. Accepting a guarantee means that you have a firm booking and can go ahead with your holiday plans in the same way as if you had accepted a specific stateroom number from the outset. When we allocate a stateroom number you can rest assured you will be given a stateroom of the type you have booked, or in some instances, of a higher category, though this may be situated on a different deck to that shown on the deck plan for the grade guaranteed. The fare you have been quoted will, in any event, remain unchanged.

Hotel and Dining Charges During your voyage, you will experience excellent service from members of our crew in a variety of locations. In addition, many more crew behind the scenes support those who serve you directly. For your convenience, a Hotel and Dining charge will be automatically added to your shipboard account on a daily basis. For details of Hotel and Dining charges see pages 102-103.

Bar,Wine and Salon Services A 15% charge is automatically added to your on-board account. This is shared amongst the beverage staff. Naturally, you are free to tip any member of the crew over and above these amounts, at your discretion.

Pre or Post-Voyage Hotels Hotel space may be limited during certain major events or holidays and therefore it is recommended that you book early. Rates are subject to change and do not include early check-in. To guarantee this, it is advisable to purchase an additional night prior to arrival. Cunard reserves the right to substitute or add hotels of similar quality when necessary. Hotel options carry the same cancellation terms as a voyage, details of which can be found on page 111.

International Flight Arrangements (Holiday Package Add-Ons) Where embarkation/disembarkation is at an overseas port, Cunard offers a holiday package add-on which, in most cases, includes flights from and to London. Where the sailing time permits and subject to availability, your flights will be arranged for the day of embarkation/disembarkation. Please note that

flights back to the UK from the Americas are normally overnight. Flights are not necessarily direct or non-stop. Should you wish to extend your stay, our Air Department will endeavour to accommodate your personal flight preferences (subject to availability, an extra charge may apply). Transfers and overnight stays at the overseas port of embarkation/disembarkation will not be included in this case. Please note that if amendments (including upgrades) are made after airline tickets have been issued, the airline will levy a minimum charge of £100 per person for any changes. Please call either your travel agent with whom you made your booking or, for guests who have booked direct, our Air Department on 0845 356 0005 to confirm the changes. In addition an administration charge of up to £50 per booking will apply.

All Flights (Holiday Package Add-ons) – Please note: a) Airlines reserve the right to refuse travel on medical grounds. You must notify us of any medical conditions or other requirements for airport assistance (only available after check-in) or special arrangements on your flight. You may be required to provide additional information to the airline in order that they can assess your fitness to fly. Please note that several airlines are unable to carry guests who require oxygen during part or all of the flight. Advance arrangements can be made at an additional cost.

b) If you have any dietary requirements including meal requests, please advise us at the time of booking or at least seven days prior to travel. We are unable to guarantee that all requests can be met.

c) Only non-disabled guests may occupy exit row seats. These seats may therefore only ever be assigned at the discretion of the airline at check-in.

d) Due to the configuration of the aircraft, it may not be possible to obtain seats together.

e) All flights are non-smoking.

f) Air carriers and flight routings are subject to change and will not necessarily be direct or non-stop.

g) Cunard will determine the city airport, i.e. for London, either Heathrow or Gatwick may be used. Where a choice of UK departure airports is offered, this is subject to availability.

h) Please note that transfers from airport to hotel and ship are not included in the fare if guests choose to fly to the port of embarkation an extra day or more early or stay after disembarkation.
