Step 6: Once the truck was totally done it was time to move onto the tassie devil. The first step is the same as the truck, I sprayed down white first so that the lighter colors would cover. I start from the lightest colors and work my way into the deeper colors last. As with the truck an area was sprayed and then masked off and then the next part was airbrushed. The last color was the black which was airbrushed in and then I lightly overlaid white over the top, then I come back in with black to tighten everything up.

Step #7: Here you can see the truck un masked, you can also see the orange outline where the mask was, and all these areas are going to be hand brushed with striping enamel. By using the mask this way it means you already have the layout for the striping.

Step 8: The next step was to lay sign writing application tape over the truck logo. Once applied I drew out the peel back design and then cut it out with a sharp blade, be careful when cutting as you don’t want to cut to deep into the paint underneath as this could course problems later on. Once all was cut out everything was masked off and then I sprayed in fine silver around the edges for the metal, once the silver had flashed off I masked off the peel back and sprayed the middle with a deep metallic blue. I then used a small touch up gun to put in the circles in a lighter blue metallic.
