nfineon Technologies‘ (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) revenues in the second quarter were EUR1,035

million, reflecting another quarter with a strong increase of 10% compared to the first quarter and a 55% increase year-over-year. Combined Segment Result was EUR110 million, a 25% increase compa- red to the prior quarter. Net income was EUR79 mil- lion compared to EUR66 million in the prior quarter. For the third quarter of the 2010 fiscal year, Infineon expects revenues to increase by a high single-digit percentage. Furthermore, the Company introduced its 600V and 1200V High Speed 3 (3rd generation) IGBT pro- duct family optimized for high frequency and hard switching applications. The device family sets a new benchmark in reduced switching losses and best-in- class efficiency and is designed to address topologies switching at up to 100kHz. The new RoHS compliant High Speed 3 family is available from 20A to 50A in 600V and 15A to 40A in 1200V and is fully released for volume production. For sample quantities, pricing ranges from EUR1.90 (600V, 20A) to EUR 5.10 (1200 40A).
