This edition it’s all about city living and the fashion, music, art and culture that surrounds it.
NoChintz started the month of with a bang, launching the two new Urban Splash Albert Mill show apartments we had created earlier in the year.
The apartments represented carefully crafted special design with varying and flexible styles personally suited to each individual’s lifestyle, with eclectic furniture and strong re-enforcement of the buildings natural features.
We introduced fashion into the space by creating a catwalk show for the launch party, which represented the concept of the rooms. Bright geometric patterns were mixed with warming winter knits bringing the spaces into a 3-dimensional room set.
See our creative spread and fashion story on pages 16 - 25 for our risqué ménage a trois concept. The whole event was finished off with a house party in one of the loft-style apartments empty shells and went on into the wee small hours.
The NoChintz month culminated in a trip to New York to see how city living is done stateside! Our home section on pages 12 - 13 will fill you in on all the design details.
I’d also like to give a big thank you to all involved in the Urban Splash event: Ear To the Ground, Urban Splash, Rejuvenate, Matthew Stansfield Photography, Lilly Styling, Take Two Style School, Cupcake Palace, Urban Retreat and all the local designers, hair and make-up artists and last but by no means least the rest of the NoChintz team, for making the event a great success.
