We’d love to have a snoop!

The state of your office says it all, but what about when you’re working with ambitious professionals who are looking for love? We met up with Lisa Dalgarno, owner of Elect Club Manchester to go back to the office.

THE JOB

Elect Club Manchester is a Personal Introductions service aimed at eligible, single professionals. Following five successful years in London, Lisa Dalgarno launched Elect in Manchester earlier this year.

Lisa explains: “There’s no more trawling though internet sites or tacky speed-dating events, as each member is personally screened by one of the Elect consultants and only attractive, eligible professionals are invited to join. Members are personally matched according to their criteria and all details are highly confidential.”

In addition to the innovative introduction service, Lisa also works hard providing a fun social networking environment and a ready made social life, regularly organising

sophisticated events, exclusive parties and luxury holidays.

LOCATION, LOCATION,

LOCATION

Elect Club only hold events in the most prestige of locations. After a successful launch at The Circle Club, Elect Club Manchester is once again inviting you to enjoy the company of their gorgeous members and their friends!

Lisa hopes it will be a great chance for everyone to get to know each other and for anyone interested to find out what they’re all about.

Join Lisa and the team on 6th May for a Champagne Masterclass at Epernay. Sit back, relax and enjoy three specially selected types of Champagne, as you are led through an informative comparative tasting session, with the experts. Set within the beautiful candlelit surroundings of the Epernay Champagne Bar.

WE ASK

What’s the best thing about working in Manchester? I like that the City Centre is cosmopolitan with an amazing range of restaurants, bars and shops and a diverse range of people. As Ian Brown of The Stone Roses once said, “Manchester has everything except a beach”! What’s the favourite part of your job? Meeting lots of different people, it’s never boring. I’ve learned so much about people in this job. And the worst part of your job? Planning and organising events can get stressful at times, but it’s always worth it in the end! What’s the state of your desk? Untidy, but I do know exactly where everything is.

What do you do for lunch? Is it eat out? Or do you pack-lunch?

I usually grab a quick sandwich whilst working. Are you part of the twitterati? No, I need to get round to that. What’s your guilty pleasure? Lie-ins on a Saturday and Sunday morning. How do you relax (after work)? With a pile of magazines or a book, some good music and a nice glass of wine.
