Project Nominations 2010
That time of year has come around again, when our
members are busy nominating projects that they would
like to see supported during 2010. So many projects.
So many worthwhile causes. Not enough money to
support them all …
T
he projects are all so varied. Some are locations they have an interest in. Choose where goes on. And on. And we only have three years

One of the hardest parts of the
job is ringing those projects that
have not been chosen to tell them they have
been unsuccessful. They are all non-profit
organisations, struggling to survive on donations
and the goodwill of volunteers. It is horrible, to
hear the disappointment in their voices. Horrible
that we could not have attracted just another few
members, gained a few extra Euros and been
able to support just one more project. Or maybe
another three.
But at the same time,
how exciting that the
