Denae D’Arcy Denae is a seasoned journalist with international news
experience. After earning her master’s degree in London, she freelanced
on various news stories, including a piece about war training with NATO
forces in Denmark. She has also reported live breaking news stories for
CNN, CBS, ABC and The Weather Channel. Denae has since moved to
Oregon where she works as a television presenter for KVAL News.
In her free time, Denae enjoys gardening, travelling and blogging.

Thabang Motsei Thabi is an eccentric, driven journalist, fascinated by the
cross pollination of cultures and the intricacies of current affairs. Her
interests include extreme sport, anything artistic, literature, live shows
and textiles. She lives and works in London. For this issue of avantoure, she
has written about her trip to Berlin.
Trails of Berlin
Anna-Louise Felstead Anna-Louise Felstead is a reportage artist who
draws and paints on location. Her work focuses on people within
environments, ranging from the Royal Navy working on aircraft carriers
to mechanics preparing historic racing cars. She is inspired by unusual
places and enjoys putting herself in situations where she wouldn’t
normally be. She has recently moved to Port Isaac in Cornwall and is
about to open her own gallery called The Peapod.
Risky Roads and Alfa Romeos
Miriam Hanna Deller grew up in a small town in Austria, right in the middle
of a fairytale -like setting on the border of the Austrian alps.
From an early age on she loved to travel and take on adventures
whenever possible. Miriam is a seasoned journalist and marketing
professional and currently lives in Beijing. She enjoys writing about
everything connected to fashion, design, the arts and travel besides
taking care of business in her media productions agency. For avantoure
magazine Miriam wrote an article on a fashion duo Le Divan.
Diana Rosalind Trimble Diana is a writer, researcher, singer/songwriter who
lives in Brighton, UK. Her 2002 thesis Liquid Light of the Santo Daime won
the Council on Spiritual Practices ‘William James Award’. She is currently
the editor of It’s Simpol!, the seasonal newsletter of the ‘International
Simultaneous Policy Organisation’ (www.simpol.org). For this issue of
avantoure, Diana and her sister Suzanne Isabella Trimble, co-wrote an
introduction to John Michell, Explorer of Dimensions.
