(Q) Are you a professional airbrusher?
I could not say that I am professional as I am like many others
just a normal working guy with a hobby. But I have sold some of
my work over the years so I suppose you could say semi profes-
sional.
(Q) Do you do all types of airbrush, EXAMPLE custom, por-
trait, etc.?
No I am not what you would call an all round airbrush artist but

I have done some commission work, mostly portraits for friends
and colleagues.
(Q) How do you come up with the idea for these characters,
can you define what they are.
This is a hard one to answer. The process normally begins with
a series of lines and curves that I will paint onto a canvas with a
brush and acrylic paint, I will then photograph the canvas and put
it onto my computer and I will start to play around until I come
up with something. Then I will start to fill in the existing shapes
on my canvas but I must also say that my characters will drasti-
cally change from the time I start until the painting is finished. I
do however have to use a certain amount of self control as I do
have the habit of going into over kill when I’m painting.
(Q) How do you see your future in the world of airbrushing?
That is something that I do not think about to much. I am pleased
to be invited to a number of Airbrush shows around Europe so
that means that at least my work is seen. And you know what
they say, when one door closes another will open. So we will just
have to wait and see.
