Once I’m satisfied with the flag I go in and put in the stitches by scraping the paint
off with an Xacto blade. I will always try to get them in by scratching techniques
or paint brush, unless it’s just too small of a flag. This takes extra time but is well
worth it when someone says “look at the details, he even put the stitches in!”
