What attracted you to BDO Kendalls?
“I applied at a number of fi rms and was successful with
several job offers. I chose BDO Kendalls because of the
internationally recognised brand name, individual
career development and, above all, the people and
work culture.”
How did you choose your team?
“I have always been interested in accounting and
fi nance and held a small portfolio of my own
investments. With such great career prospects it
seemed logical to choose something that I enjoyed
that is also in a growing and diverse industry.”
Tell us about your photo.
“The photo refl ects my most recent trip – two and
a half months through Africa, from Cape Town to
Nairobi. The highlight of the trip was trekking Mt.
Kilimanjaro in Northern Tanzania at an altitude of
5,895 metres (19,350 feet).
The expedition went for 7 days, starting at the
bottom in lush rain forests with cascading waterfalls
at temperatures of 35C to the snow covered volcanic
crater at -20C.
This trip truly was one of the most rewarding and
memorable experiences I have had in my life.”
