How did you become involved with Schenck
Process?
The University of Technology, Sydney has an
automated online system that assists industry
partnering. This system allows a student to apply
for internships at companies within our field of practice in any areas of
interest we have in both the private and government sectors. Through this
system I was able to apply for an opportunity to work at Schenck Process.
What kind of tasks did you undertake during your internship?
Tasks I undertook involved quality assurance, workshop test analysis, the
creation of design spreadsheets, streamlining of existing work practices,
project documentation, programming and various engineering
calculations. What I enjoyed most about my time at Schenck Process
was the fact that I felt as if I was making a positive contribution to the
company with the work I completed.
