announced three new projects mean-
ing it is now present in 58 nations
across Europe, the Middle East and
Africa. The company will open the
Radisson Blu Hotel Lusaka in Zambia
(Q3 2009, 142 rooms), the Radisson
Blu Hotel Skopje in Macedonia (Q1
2011, 210 rooms), and the Radisson
Blu Hotel Luanda in Angola (Q1 2012,
257 rooms).
Marriott International is to open
seven hotels, with a total of 1,561
rooms in India this year. The new
hotels include a 320-room JW
Marriott Hotel in Bangalore; the
426-room Pune Marriott Hotel &
Convention Center; and five new
Courtyard by Marriott hotels in
Gurgaon, West Pune, Hyderabad,
Ahmedabad and Mumbai International
Airport.
