Southwest Women’s Ministries Kick Off New Year with New Bible Studies
INDIAN WELLS — On Thursday morning January 5 from 9–11:30 a.m. Women’s Bible Study at Southwest Community Church will kick off their 2012 session of “Growing in God’s Garden of the Heart.”

PALM SPRINGS — The Palm Springs Baptist Church family would like to invite our community to celebrate Christmas with them on Sunday December 25 at 10 a.m. with Christian recording artist Blake Bolerjack. Music will range from familiar Christmas favorites to inspirational and new Christmas-themed selections. The concert is free to all. Blake Bolerjack has been in full-time concert ministry since June of 2005, sharing concerts in churches and other venues. He sings a mixture ranging from Southern Gospel favorites to Inspirational and Christian Contemporary styles. One of Blake’s greatest ministry opportunities comes during his concerts when he shares his testimony. Struggling with deep depression and anxiety throughout his childhood and late adolescence, Blake tells of the redemptive power of Jesus Christ in his life. Blake says, “It was through Christ and His power alone that produced the greatest 180 degree turn my life has ever taken. God reached His hand down and took me out of my ‘pit of despair’ and has continued to heal me every day since.” Blake currently lives in Oklahoma City with his wife.
Blake toured with The Continental Singers in the summer of 1998 as well as several other groups including the Master’s Hand Quartet, who were invited to sing on stage at a Robbie Hiner Old Gospel Hour Quartet concert. Blake is also a studio singer for Christian World Soundtracks and has shared the stage with Gaither Homecoming artists such as the Booth Brothers and The Greenes, as well as Soul’d Out Quartet, gospel artist Luke Garrett, and gospel group Inheritance (Jackson and Scroggs). Blake has performed multiple times for televised programming for TBN and VTN networks and gained national recognition for the presence of his single “Somebody Cares” on top radio charts, including Singing News magazine.

The kickoff event will feature beloved Monica Tauber as speaker. Welcome new ladies, and welcome back snowbirds! Get a cup of coffee and choose from the fabulous goodies table so you can enjoy a chat with friends, maybe even a “new” best friend before the worship time.

Everyone is invited to come and “Grow in God’s Garden of the Heart” with the women of Southwest. The cost is $25 per person and includes books. Programming is available for children up to five years old.
