Merry Christmas from all of us at Desert Christian News! We pray you and your family experience all of the blessings of knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior this Christmas season. In the midst of all the hustle and bustle of the holidays I pray you will make time to slow down and focus on the “reason for the season” and remember how much He loves you.
The December issue of DCN Magazine is full of articles and ministry opportunities that offer ideas about how to serve and celebrate this Christmas. As always, there are many ways you can get involved this holiday to bless those less fortunate in our community. Whether you choose to volunteer for the Coachella Valley Christmas Store, Jordan Ministries’ Christmas for Kids, The Bread of Life Christmas Dinner or one of the other wonderful ministries this holiday I’m sure you and your family will find it to be a deeply rewarding part of your holiday tradition.
There is also a listing of some of the special events and services available throughout the Valley. You won’t want to miss the third annual Living Nativity which is sure to be bigger and better than ever. Plus there are many wonderful concert events to choose from to celebrate our Lord’s birth. Of course, be sure to check with your local church to see what special services are planned to help you and your family celebrate this year.
At this special time of year, and all year long, the goal of Desert Christian News is to Make God Famous in the Coachella Valley! If you know of an individual or ministry that is doing a great work in God’s name in our community, please write to us so we might highlight them in a future issue. Also, we are always looking for more locations (1,200 currently) to make DCN Magazine available at no cost. If you would like copies delivered to your business, please contact us and we will add you to our delivery route.
