The new C Series Widescreen uses the new 4kW 18” and 24” digital radomes and is also
compatible with Raymarine’s Super HD and HD Digital open arrays. Packed with power,
Raymarine’s latest digital radar offerings deliver high-clarity targets and virtually eliminate
noise and clutter from the image. HD Digital technology also offers the Dual Range
function, which provides a view of both long and short range scales in two radar windows
on one screen. Users can also overlay chart data with the radar images showing, for
example, tide graphics with AIS information on view as well.
Using SeaTalkng the C Series Widescreen takes the user way beyond normal chartplotter-
autopilot communication. The new multifunction displays can be used to control the new
SPX autopilots via the autopilot function on the chartplotter interface - an autopilot dialogue
enables the skipper to engage and disengage the autopilot directly from the C Series
display.
