Inventory
Inventory is a suite of 20 color photographs of my own flesh:
surgical scars, varicosities, veins, and breast self-exam, shown as
a group. Usually a book and pen are nearby for viewer comments.
In Inventory I offer the details of my own body to question and trans-
form our denial of bodily “imperfection.” Inventory is meant to reclaim
and celebrate the reality of actual flesh, marked by time and life.
