UNRESPONSIVE Most of us know our First Amendment gives us the right to petition our government for a redress of our grievances, but many government officials today with authority over citizens’ activities have forgotten they are civil servants, and they see no need to respond to bothersome petitions. Not long ago, elected officials and career government officials were more responsive. We need that policy to return. There is no doubt the Trump administration is more transparent than any other administration in recent history, as evidenced by

ICE MASKS The wearing of masks has become a big part of the whole ICE discussion. Masks symbolized Wild West bank robbers, radical criminals, even thieves wearing rubber masks of Nixon or Reagan. Masks became a symbol of the left’s


resistance to what they called “science deniers” during the pandemic. ICE agents’ families wear masks to protect themselves from harassment or worse by radicals.
