onservative commentator Michael Savage plans to live up to his reputation of being an unpredictable host during
Savage Nation, his new weekly Sunday night show on Newsmax TV. Savage is no stranger to Newsmax.

wonderful because it permits me to expand and expound upon subjects that I can only just summarize when I appear as a guest on other Newsmax shows.” With the 8 p.m. ET Sunday time slot,

Savage isn’t looking to regurgitate the headlines that viewers have heard all week long. Instead, he sprinkles his view into the top news story of the week and then features segments that focus on some of his passions.“I have such varied interests,” Savage said. Recognizing that his show will

conservatives happy. As a conservationist, he argues against “decimating the Earth for the last drop of oil,” which he admits might “fly in the face of some” who will chant the “drill, drill, drill” mantra. “We are shepherds of this Earth,” he
said. “We are here to protect and to pass it along to the next generations, not to exhaust the Earth of every last resource, just for a buck.” Even if his opinions run counter
to some viewers, he hopes that his experience resonates. “I have lived through seven presidents,”
