increases, which can be caused by an increased blood supply to cancer cells. T ere is a clear association between heat in the breasts and breast cancer.
AVOID: Stress is toxic! T e emotional burdens we carry take their toll on our health.
Other factors that contribute to
breast problems are under-wires and tight bras. They can cause blocked lymph movement. Our lymph systems, as most of you know, is our trash collection of our body. It makes sense to clean the environment of our breasts. Also, toxins in our personal hygiene products and the environment add to our risk. Avoid the chemicals in shampoos, soaps, makeup as well as in the cleaning products in your home and office, which cause toxic overloads in organs. Use healthy products on your body and in your home!

What can we do for the health of our breasts? Many options!
PREVENTION: Bodywork, thermography and self-exams, as well as a good diet, a peaceful life and awareness of our changing body can prevent breast cancer.
Diet changes can really make a
noticeable diff erence. Caff eine, red meat and personal allergens can add to fi brotic cysts. Awareness of how your personal diet changes your breast texture and comfort is essential.
TESTS: Mammograms are recommended for questionable lumps or yearly, once a woman is older. However, T ermography is a safer adjunct therapy that uses no compression and no radiation. T ermography measures heat in the body and shows small, unilateral temperature
BODYWORK: Manual massage techniques are available to enhance the health of breasts and your entire body. Lymph Drainage T erapy (LDT) can reduce swelling and fi brotic cysts. Not knowing what it feels like, the fi rst thing you may think is that it would be uncomfortable. But it is not. Breast bodywork is gentle. It’s a gentle, hands-on style of bodywork off ered by massage therapists and sometimes, physical therapists using light strokes attuned to the actual rhythm of your lymph fl ow. LDT can clear lymph nodes, and as an added benefi t, tones your parasympathetic system (the meditative side of your nervous system). LDT is deeply relaxing and incredibly healthful. It oſt en results in breasts feeling younger, soſt er, less painful and lumpy, healthier. LDT also clears the pathways from the breasts to give your body the ability to clear on its own again. It can clear ear congestion, sinus congestion, eye congestion. And, there are advanced techniques to drain the lymph from the lungs, liver and kidneys. T e abdomen greatly benefi ts from this work, and that clears the path to the legs. Oh, the legs feel so much better when the extra swelling is gone!
