cells. In essence, we can convince the body to create its own cancer vaccine in the body by using the tumor (as the sample), the body (as the lab), minimally-harmful drugs as sensitizers and a UHFRT hyperthermia generator (as the Bunsen burner). The net effect is that tumors do not like the heat 104-108 F or the chemical manipulation we use. The tumors shrink and allow us to remove them minimally-invasively after 1–3 months. Although any chemotherapy drug may be

employed and augmented by the use of a local regional fever over the tumor site. We are always on the hunt for minimally-invasive or minimally-toxic drugs to use in combination to initiate an immune response by the body against the tumor. We have years of data showing the effectiveness of Carboplatin and UHFRT and have shown the therapy to be effective using High Dose Vitamin C Therapy, Metformin, Glucose Metabolic Inhibitors such as 2-Desoxy-D-Glucose and Dl-Glyceralaldehyde and, recently, our favorite is USPION. USPION stands for Ultra-small Supra-Paramagnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles. This is a 30nm (yes, it is a nano technology) iron oxide Ferro fl uid that is injected into the tumor and into the vein. This fl uid acts as a target for our UHFRT generators and has been found to enhance the immune system attack against the cancer all by itself. The therapy is enhanced with electromagnetic stimulation using the applicator pad to stimulate the desired area non- invasively from the outside of the body. The net effect is simple—if you can wake the immune system up and convince it to attack an unwanted tumor, then the body will wall-off the mass, thus facilitating its removal while attacking the metastatic daughter cells. Our goal is to manage the tumor in a way that has minimal negative impacts on the body while buying the patient time with quality. Hyperthermia techniques are taught in other parts of the world, but not in our medical or veterinary schools. This has prompted our practice to seek alternative oncological techniques to help our veterinary patients, while we improve the therapy here in the United States. Hyperthermia has been very slow to adopt in this country; and therefore, it has led many human patients to seek these services abroad. We often wonder: What will it take to slow

down this fast-moving oncology-train-to-nowhere? Hyperthermia and its immunological stimulation

can offer a shift in thought towards a track to true recovery and longer remissions. This is our dream and prayer. In the meantime, our animal patients in Orlando and Sanford benefi t from therapies which we (humans) cannot receive legally in this country. I know Hyperthermia Therapy is legal in Mexico. Maybe we should consider leaving a courtesy hole in the border wall for sick American people who need effective cancer treatments to go through—or push to have this therapy adopted here at home for “We the People.” Currently, we fi rmly believe animals get better oncological care in our hospitals than we would receive for ourselves at standard medical centers. Sad but True.
