JOIN US at the most prestigious fire safety event for decision makers, to challenge current policy and influence change. The Fire Sector Summit 2019 will take place on Tuesday 5 November at One Great George Street, London, and will see experts from leading cladding association MCRMA, government figures and an immunogeneticist discussing contemporary issues shaping our future. Jonathan O’Neill, managing director of the
FPA, will feature as event chair, and is renowned as one of the most influential figures within the sector, never shying away from hard truths. Mark Cashin, chief fire officer for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, will discuss the dangers involved in fighting fires in timber framed buildings, while MP and former Fire Minister Jim Fitzpatrick will be reflecting on 40 years in the fire industry. The morning format will consist of speaker sessions in which you will have the opportunity
to put questions to our experts and stimulate debate as part of our panel discussions. You will have the choice of attending one of our three unique afternoon workshops on construction, safety codes or thought leadership, to tailor the event to suit you. As in previous years, discussions held at the Summit will form part of the report Mr O’Neill produces for the Fire Minister and will help form the Building Regulations review.
