Draper Tools releases new range of trolley jacks


AS part of their growing range of automotive equipment, leading distributor of hand and power tools, Draper Tools, has released its new range of special edition 2.25-tonne trolley jacks – available in four bold colours: blue, green, orange, and white.


Manufactured and tested to the latest EN1494 standard, these high-quality jacks are ideal for professional use in the workshop.


This low-profi le range of jacks needs just 73mm clearance, making them well suited for use on sports and custom vehicles with reduced clearance height.


The heavy-duty chassis, steel castors and large saddle ensures these jacks are hardy


and robust. The saddle is fi tted with an integrated rubber saddle pad providing added protection to the underside of the vehicle and the EVA foam handle provides enhanced protection to the vehicle panels. A twin piston pump also ensures a fast lift and helps make light work of lifting vehicles.


The chassis of the jack is fi tted with an inbuilt magnetic parts tray, meaning losing small parts is no longer an issue in the workshop. This feature is especially useful for keeping wheel nuts safe when changing wheels.

The Hire Supply Company relocates to Nottingham


THE Hire Supply Company (HSC), a leading UK tool hire distributor, has relocated to Eldon Road Trading Estate in Attenborough, Nottingham.


For the past 16 years, the company’s head offi ce and main distribution centre, which was incorporated in 2001, was situated on Sheet Stores Industrial Estate in Long Eaton.


To keep up with processes, HSC leased another unit and had off -site pallet storage to hold their vast range of products. But in line with the company’s expansion plans,


a move was necessary to facilitate future growth.


The new premises allows all of this to come under one roof, improving logistics and effi ciencies.


All products, including non-seasonal ones, will be stored in the 31,000 square-foot building.


Having the complete range of products in one place will help maintain the company’s next-working-day delivery


promise and improve overall stock management.


The renovation and refurbishment of the building incorporates a modern looking sales offi ce, trade counter, show room and board room which will be used for meetings and for training.


A substantial investment has been made getting the building exactly as required and making sure that visiting customers and suppliers see that HSC is a sustainable, forward focused company which is determined to provide the best possible products and innovative solutions to their customers.
