2017 ROBIN HOOD CHAMPIONSHIP
THE Nottinghamshire Council of Retail Meat Traders report that the 23rd Robin Hood Championship was a successful event despite a last-minute change of location on the Showground. Every effort was made to contact entrants, judges and stewards regarding this change and the organisers wish to apologise to anyone who was not notified. Once again, the

competiton included an international element with an entry from a shop in Antibes, South of France, run by an English lady. However, it was Matthew Edwards of Vaughan’s Family Butchers who took the Council Shield as overall winner of the Sausage Classes. Joining him
in celebrating success for Vaughan’s was fellow butcher Tilly Penney who picked up the Robin Hood Trophy for the Sausage Roll class. To view details of all
