Thousands Raised for Cancer Research Wales in Group Head Shave

Living Seas Wales Awarded National Lottery Support!

An incredibly daring group of nineteen fundraisers sacrifi ced their locks this month by shaving their heads, all in the name of a good cause. The local Whitchurch fundraising team took part in a ‘Close Shave II’ at the Malsters Arms in Whitchurch, to raise funds for Cancer Research Wales. With all donations and pledges to date, the group are well on their way to hitting their £10,000 target for the event. The event followed ‘Close Headshave I’ which took place in 2015 at the pub,

when 25 people raised £11,000 for the charity. Last year, regulars at the pub raised a further £12,700 for the charity through

a series of

events including an auction, quizzes, and a football match. Katie
