Allen & Harris raises nearly £10,000 in the Summer Solstice Skydive for CLIC Sargent

Local estate agency Allen & Harris is proud to have raised nearly £10,000 for chosen charity CLIC Sargent by taking part in the ‘Sequence Summer Solstice Skydive.’ Allen & Harris is part of national estate agency network Sequence UK and has been supporting CLIC Sargent - the UK’s leading charity for children and young people with cancer and their families – since 2001. The skydive took place on the 23rd and 24th of June across a range of UK airfields and saw 20 staff members take to the skies falling 13,000ft. “Well done to the brave colleagues who took part in this fantastic event. The money is still rolling in and we hope to make this year of fundraising our best yet for CLIC Sargent,” says David Plumtree, Group Estate Agency Chief Executive at Sequence. “The skydive weekend was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved and the enthusiasm and support from the company as a whole has been great. We’re proud to be able to keep contributing to the excellent work CLIC Sargent do and we are always looking for new and fun ways to support them.” Tom Lacey, CLIC Sargent Sports and Challenge Events Manager, said: “When cancer strikes young lives we fight tirelessly to limit the damage it causes beyond their health. We rely entirely on charitable donations to fund our vital work and so we can’t thank Sequence staff enough for their fantastic efforts. “We’re so grateful to the Sequence staff that selflessly took part in a skydive raising a fantastic £9,694.50. This will make a massive difference

for young people with cancer by helping us ensure they are getting the right support they need. The staff from across Sequence’s Head Office and a number of branches spent many hours fundraising including a number of bake sales and raffles,” Tom concludes. CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and provides clinical, practical, emotional and financial support

to help young people and their families to cope with cancer. Since Sequence UK has been supporting CLIC Sargent, the business has raised in excess of £413,747 over the course of the partnership and for this worthwhile cause.
