Cardiff Spy Mission Treasure Trail
Treasure Trails are a unique way to explore some- where new, or somewhere you have lived all your life. Suitable for all ages, the whole family will be hunting around for the answers to the clues to crack the code! This Trail consists of a 2.5 mile walk around Cardiff Bay, highlighting the best scenic and historical sights. Whilst you and the kids are out exploring in the fresh air, you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled if you want to solve the 20 questions to crack the code. Trails are self guided and can be instantly download- ed from the website. Follow the Trail, solve the clues and see the sights on any day of your choosing. Families across Wales can fi nd great arts and culture activities on their doorstep. Head to Theatr Clwyd in Mold for Tiddler and Other Terrifi c Tales. Featuring live music and puppetry, this performance weaves together characters from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffl er’s best-loved titles: Tiddler, Monkey Puzzle, The Smartest Giant in Town and A Squash and a Squeeze. Or attend a performance of A Square World, which looks at the the unfairness of being left out in a world designed for everyone else but yourself. Described as a very endearing and funny performance with a gentle but poignant message. Also at Theatr Clwyd is The Doodle Dance Show, a playful, interactive show that will get the whole family doodling, moving and imagining together – from crazy birds and dancing pirates to strange underwater creatures and loads more. featuring acrobats and
musicians who fl y, fl ing and swing across their beautiful tent on trapeze, Cyr wheels, trick bicycles, trampolines and seesaws to the thundering sound of brass.

The Big Welsh Bite is back on 4th and 5th August, at Ynysangharad War Memorial Park, celebrating all the culinary delights from around the country. This annual two-day food festival attracts thousands of visitors from all over. There will be many attractions, including a fi ne array of food and craft stalls and a packed itinerary of arena shows, cookery demonstrations and side attractions.
All produce available at Big Welsh Bite will be grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholders themselves, resulting in a scrumptious range of local produce. From cupcakes to Indian spices, there will be something for everyone and a vast range of food to eat on site as well as to take home with you.
