UPFRONT
DIETARY DIVAS These days everyone and their dog have some kind of dietary restriction and with charter season fast approaching, the divas are ready to descend. Suddenly you’re a dietician, nutritionist, or first responder.
PESCATARIAN Pesky is the operative word here, the Pesky Pesce only eats fish and seafood. Sounds easy but there are exceptions to the rule especially if there’s a lobster involved.
FLEXITARIAN There’s nothing more confusing than a flexitarian. One minute they’re happy with a steak and then they’ve gone hard core vegan just because it’s Tuesday. There’s no consistency except what mood they’re in. Don’t try to anticipate or plan in advance, you’ll end up throwing everything away and making sushi or maybe not.
AQUATARIAN You’ve heard of a few ---tarians before but the Aquatarian takes things to a whole new level. This high maintenance lovey only drinks the purist waters from around the world. Don’t worry about carbon footprints, just do whatever it takes, this one is the hardest to please.
ALCOTARIAN We’ve heard it all now, the Alcotarian is a purveyor of all things alcoholic but to be clear, this is not an addiction, this is someone with a fine appreciation of anything… alcoholic. Hmm, what’s the difference? To be clear, they enjoy only the rarest and the best of anything alcoholic. Crystal is just the tip of the iceberg. No solids please, only liquids.
ANIMAL STYLE Anything with a face, tail, hooves, scales, horns or fur is literally on the table with this lot. It’s the ultimate caveman diet and brings new meaning to nose to tail eating. Lock up the pet guinea pigs, nothing’s safe. You’ll often find them gnawing on bones to sharpen their teeth between meals and everything’s served rarer than rare. Hope you’re not too squeamish.

MY FAVOURITE DESTINATION ISCHIA, ITALY
JEN HOWARTH Sales and Charter Yacht Broker, SuperYachtsMonaco
I discovered Ischia a few years ago, the island is just off the coast of Naples, in the same island group as the popular glitzy Capri. Ischia is the opposite of glitzy, the whole island is a sleepy fishing village, almost stopped in time, with meandering streets, and laid-back beach restaurants. Popular with Italian tourists, there is an abundance of things to do, including the fabled thermal spa, one can languish a day away,

Europe’s largest blowhole. Only a short
distance from the beach at la Franca, north eastern coast of Spain. These bufones are one of the most spectacular formations to be found in limestone cliffs. As a result, howling jets of water shoot up to 30 metres in the air, a feature unique to this part of the coast.
