READY, SET, GO! for EHS 2022

By early February it will be nearly two years that we’ve had nowhere to go and nothing much to look at. Okay, that’s a slight exaggeration, but the big news is that The Executive Hire Show is back with a bang and that visitor registration is NOW OPEN! Indeed so, and the recent EHS ‘kick-off’ meeting at the Coventry Building

Society Arena demonstrated that there’s just as much enthusiasm among exhibitors as there is with hirers keen to view the latest and best equipment. Of the former, we are delighted to announce that 30 new companies will be joining us in 2022, the event is currently over 85% sold out and we’re well ahead of the same position for the 2020 bash. Put simply, it’s going to be a good one, with plenty of new kit, industry chums to reconnect with, and there’s still the evening party to consider… But we digress. First and foremost, the EHS visitor registration

floodgates are now ajar. Making sure that you’re on the guest list is a simple matter of filling in the basic form at https://rfg.circdata.com/publish/EHS22. It’s absolutely FREE to attend, and that’s basically all there is to it. So we look forward

to seeing you all there on: February 9/10 at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Judds Lane, CV6

IN BRIEF

HSC catalogue is LIVE The Hire Supply Company (HSC) has launched its 20th anniversary trade

catalogue. The new tome features over 40 new products and a streamlined layout. This time there are no trade prices, due to the constant changes in the supply chain and fluctuating shipping costs. Customers can request an up to date trade price list by email, or can register for an online account for current prices and stock availability.

Fraser buys big Fraser Tool Hire of Hamilton, Scotland, has just bought its 200th JCB excavator.

The company achieved this milestone with the acquisition of a JCB 86C-2 midi excavator. The 8.6 tonne machine joins over 150 existing JCB excavators in the fleet. With models ranging from micros to 10-tonne midi excavators. Fraser Tool Hire has invested over £8 million in JCB excavators alone since it was founded in 1983.

New Kubota euro head Mr. Shingo Hanada will be leaving his current position as President of Kubota

Holdings Europe B.V on January 1st 2022. At the same date Mr. Yasukazu Kamada will replace him. Mr. Kamada has worked for Kubota for almost 40 years, holding numerous

management positions in Japan and the United States. Most recently, he was Managing Executive Officer and General Manager of the Engine Division.

Coinford in £2 million JCB investment A South East groundworks specialist has invested in a fleet of new JCB

excavators and site dumpers in a deal worth over £2 million. Surrey-based Coinford ordered 40 machines including 220X and 140X tracked excavators, along with a range of JCB site dumpers – all were supplied by Greenshields JCB. The company also added further JCB Loadall telescopic handlers to its existing fleet.

and that’s not all…

Live events are firmly back on the agenda. To wit, the recent Executive Hire Scotland was definite success for exhibitors and visitors alike. Now we can look forward to repeating the feat at the opposite end of the British Isles, with the ‘West &Wales’ Roadshow. It’s a smaller and more personal event, as

you might imagine, with a focus on interpersonal interactions, re-forging old links and the business of getting those tempting show-only deals done. You can be sure there will be plenty of those. As we go to press, nine manufacturers have

signed up to showcase their equipment, including Altrad Belle, Euro Towers, Hire Supply Company, Legend Brands, MHM, Shindaiwa, Snorkel, Trelawny and Trime, while HAE EHA will also be hosting a conference at the event and bringing their audience along as well. We’re still selling, so keep an eye on the website for other West & Wales news as it happens. In the meantime, there are but a few days left

to register for the event. It’s entirely FREE to do so, with free parking and gratis refreshments throughout the day. Sign up pronto at www.executivehireshow.co.uk/road-shows or contact Sally O’Brien at s.obrien@hgluk.com for further details. The West & Wales Roadshow takes place on Wednesday December 1st, at the Holiday Inn, Bristol, BS16 1QX.
